A Proud History on Cobourg's Waterfront
Founded in 1964, Cobourg Yacht Club has grown alongside the town's waterfront, helping transform Cobourg Harbour into a vibrant destination for recreational boating.

Built through the dedication of its members, CYC remains a volunteer-driven organization with deep roots in the community.

Today, the club continues to bring generations of sailors together through racing, cruising, sailing education and a shared appreciation for life on the water.
Sailing for Everyone
We believe that sailing should be accessible to more people, regardless of age, experience or boat ownership.

Through youth and adult sailing programs, bursaries, volunteer mentorship and growing accessible sailing opportunities, Cobourg Yacht Club is helping open the waterfront to a broader community.
